Limoncello
is an Italian Liqueur produced in Southern Italy. Traditionally, it is made from the zest of Sorrento
lemons that are steeped in grain alcohol until the oil is released
and then mixed with simple syrup. The beverage has a strong lemon bite and is
often served chilled as an aperitif. With lemons and the beautiful Italian
countryside in mind, my thoughts turn to the beauty of the waning summer days.
Longing to keep summer here until the very last moment,
how do we take our most favorite summer dress and transition it into early
Fall? Here I've taken one of my favorite dresses from Diane Von
Furstenberg…and paired it with the “IT” jacket of the moment
along with great pumps and button earrings. Let’s bring back accessible glamour
and turn it on its heels!
