DAYS OF WINE & ROSES
Inspired by the latest red and pink trend which you have all seen on the runway, these two colors worn together were often thought of as clashing. The idea itself can be a little overwhelming, but when you actually put the two together, and pop in a neutral like black and add in a vintage rose print blouse, the combination is ultra-feminine and beautiful. I hope you agree!
SUMMER TO FALL
As we approach the end of summer, how do we take our most beloved summer tops and transition them into great looking Fall outfits? The animal print trend has become a classic...make it fresh by working it back to a slim pencil skirt and pop of bold color. Mix with the hand bag of the moment - the clutch - and add patterned heels that evoke African design. Bangles and pendant earrings complete the look.
- Bright & sexy Bardot Crop top
- Pair it with a sexy pencil skirt from Mango
- Layer it with River Island's animal skin 80's blazer
- Pull it all together with a black patent belt from John Lewis
- Add a great pair of shoes from Guiseppe Zanotti from stylestar.com
- Love the Givenchy tri tone croc clutch
- Top it with tear drop earrings from Oasis
- Show off your Bangles from Fantasy Jewelry box

ROCK MY ROCOCO
Italian Baroque fashion is inspired by Michelangelo's 16th century art, borrowing scrolling patterns that climb up the body and embellish shoes, handbags and other accessories, adding a sophisticated touch and making a statement. For the upcoming Fall/Winter 2012-2013, the sophisticated baroque style is getting raves in the fashion world.

SHOW YOUR STRIPES
The stripe trend in both home design and fashion shows no signs
of stopping. Playful is the name of the game with the newest stripes set as color
blocks and mixed with other stripes. And then there are the stripes that aren’t
stripes at all…vis-a-vis the animal skin zebra trend. ‘As always...Black and white fashions defy
time, and keep their well earned place as big colors as we head into late Summer and early
Fall transition. I just love how this pop accent of vintage yellow updates
the traditional black & white statement.
LUXE BE A LADY TONIGHT FALL 12
The Fall 2012 runways were filled with lavish and
somewhat over-the-top looks — think ornate jewelry, brocade prints, intricate
beading and pieces made out of rich fabrics such as silk, leather or velvet. This
Luxe styling takes a more
"lady-like" approach and becomes investment dressing from Balmain’s
trophy jacket, Michael Kors cashmere turtleneck sweater to the flat riding
boot. Beaded collar dickies, liquid gold sequin tees, pencil skirts and
tailored leather in bold color set the stage. Make this trend
campus-appropriate by pairing a brocade print top with jeans for class or by
accessorizing with a metallic clutch for a fun night out.
