As I wrote before, o ne of my favorite trends
that can move from Summer to Fall is the Color Block trend. Seen on the Spring
runways of Marc by Marc Jacobs,
BCBG Max Azria,
and Sophie Theallet,
color-blocked looks can range from bold contrasting color combinations to more
neutral pairings. And now we see prints combined with bold solid color as seen
by the top from Stella McCartney. This freshens up the whole trend, makes it
“Fall-friendly”, adds graphic interest as well as being really flattering on
the body, instantly slimming you in just the right places.
